Editorial Guidelines

We welcome genuine editorial collaboration with other publications in the travel space. Here's how it works, so you know before you write to us.

Travel DRD publishes original guides and stories for our own readers first. Every so often that overlaps with what another publication is writing about, and a link between two relevant articles is genuinely useful to both audiences. That's the only kind of collaboration we take part in.

What we accept

  • You're a real publication with named authors and a publishing history — not a freshly registered domain built to sell links.
  • Your topic genuinely fits our audience — travel, vacation rentals, coastal Florida living, family trips, and the like.
  • The link sits inside the body of an article, placed editorially in context — never in a sitewide template, footer, or homepage block.
  • One partner domain per article. We keep our pages focused, not stacked with outbound links.
  • We write the article and choose the anchor text that reads naturally in context.
  • Our sources are recognized authorities in the subject at hand.
  • The arrangement is a one-to-one exchange: one article on our site, one article on yours.

What we decline

  • Requests to link to a domain other than the one you're writing from.
  • The same templated pitch sent to more than one of our brands at once.
  • Dictated or pre-written anchor text.
  • Sites that sell placements outright, or that run spun or duplicated content.
  • Sitewide, footer, or homepage link requests.
  • Topics with no genuine connection to our audience.

Anything involving payment is marked rel="sponsored" and disclosed as such — no exceptions.
